On August 5, Crescent Towing and Cooper/T. Smith Mooring had a surprise visit from Crescent River Pilot Joey Cargol, who's been paddling the Mississippi River in a 70-year-old wooden canoe on a journey from Minnesota to the Gulf of Mexico. Upon arrival at our fleet, Joey received a warm welcome, cold water, and a care package to help him finish the last leg of his voyage. Follow his trek on Facebook at Expedition H2020.
