In April, the Mobile Area Council Boy Scouts of America presented David Cooper, Sr., Vice Chairman of Cooper/T. Smith, with the Golden Eagle Award at its annual Boy Scout Golden Eagle Dinner onboard the USS Alabama.

The Golden Eagle Dinner brings together business, civic, and political leaders in our community to share the story of Scouting’s impact on our youth. The event also affords the Boy Scouts the opportunity to honor community leaders for their service, as selected by their peers. The Golden Eagle Award recognizes citizens who serve our community through financial, volunteer, or business leadership.

The Mobile Area Council Boy Scouts of America provides service to over 4,500 registered youth and registered adult leaders in the Southwest Alabama Counties of Baldwin, Clarke, Mobile and Washington.
